Terms of Service

For the Podlore iOS app · Last updated June 14, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Podlore iOS app ("Podlore," the "app") provided by Slow and Steady Apps ("we," "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Podlore generates original podcast episodes — script, voiceover, and background music — from a topic you provide. A selection of sample episodes is available without a subscription; generating your own episodes requires an active subscription.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to subscribe to or use Podlore. By using the app you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.

Subscriptions and billing

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Podlore to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, hateful, harassing, or that infringes the rights of others, and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the app or its backend services.

AI-generated content and assumption of risk

Episodes are produced by automated AI systems. Generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable, and may not reflect real facts or events. It is provided for general informational and entertainment purposes only and is not a substitute for professional advice — including medical, legal, financial, or safety advice. You should independently verify anything important before relying on it.

You understand and accept that you use generated content at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for how you use, share, or act on it. The topics you submit determine what is generated; you are responsible for the topics you enter and for ensuring your use complies with applicable law and the rights of others.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, and its underlying software are owned by us and protected by applicable law. Subject to these Terms, you may listen to episodes you generate for your personal, non-commercial use. Background music and other bundled assets remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Slow and Steady Apps from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising out of or related to your use of the app, the topics you submit, your use of generated content, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

Apple and the App Store

Podlore is distributed through Apple's App Store. These Terms are between you and Slow and Steady Apps only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or to address any claims relating to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes to the service or Terms

We may modify or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Virginia will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the app.
